It’s Wednesday somewhere, right?
Tyler here, or as AI has apparently been calling me: Flesh Bag. I hope you are as happy for this Wednesday to finally be over as I am. The highlight for me no doubt is getting to share this latest page which my co-creator Trina has filled with literal jaw dropping wonder.
Last time we finally got to meet our “Damsel in a Mess” Penny as her boyfriend Todd bounded off on the heroic mission of using a mall bathroom. But one never knows what will be found in the public restrooms of Centerville.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THIS IS AN NSFW COMIC. HOW NSFW IT WILL BECOME IS NOW UP TO TODD. PROCEED WITH WHATEVER DEGREE OF FAITH YOU HAVE IN HIM.
**I highly recommend you enjoy Trina’s latest on a full screen display in PDF or CBZ. But for you noble, midnight toilet scrollers peering into the light of your devices within your own curiously darkened bathrooms… I have embedded a version below:
Seems like there are bigger concerns than whether Todd will start toilet scrolling or not. But don’t lose hope completely. He still might. Stay tuned to find out:
Sincerely thank you all for the support, it is so cool to hear how authentically jazzed people are over the visuals Trina is serving up to communicate the bonkers story I wrote. I’m constantly surprised and awed at what she comes up with and it is a never ending joy to be her “first fan”.
We hope all of you fantastic Gumballerinas (our kindly subscribers) enjoyed the peek at our “behind the pages” process with the sketches we sent to your inbox last week. There is more to come on that front, including the original sketch Trina did for this page… if it can be pried from my hands.
Speaking of having hands, fingers, bones, blood, feelings, and lived experiences, here is what AI came up with for this page when I genuinely gave it the same framework for panel one as Trina:
I didn’t even say tricky stuff like ‘Gumball Man’. Maybe I should have mentioned Timothy?
Anyhow, you can vote on your preferred version below:
Thank you so, so, so, much for supporting us as we develop this comic. It is an endlessly rewarding ride of a collaboration to be on. As to what is next, this is the page I kept apologizing to Trina for making boring in comparison to what is to come.
#Wednesdayforever.
Fine, it’s already Thursday.
THANK YOU,
-The TDs
This is the T-rated humor I signed up for!
